SDE-License
SEREDA GmbH received an SDE license from the main customs office in Berlin for the submission of simplified customs declarations in accordance with Article 166 of the Union Customs Code when exporting goods using the electronic export system ATLAS-Export. The SDE export authorization pursuant to Art. 166 et seq. UZK, art. 145 et seq. UZK-DA and art. 223 et seq. UZK-IA replaces the previous "approved exporter" (AEO).
Within the scope of the license for the simplified customs declaration pursuant to Art. 166 p. 2 Union Customs Code, a simplified or complete electronic export declaration must be submitted to the competent customs office of export for each individual export consignment prior to the departure of the goods. The goods shall be presented to the customs office of export at pre-approved packing and loading locations. The release for export is generally automated, even outside the opening hours of the customs office, in the IT procedure ATLAS-Export. Approval by the main customs office confirms that the company is trustworthy, the processes and responsibilities are clearly regulated and an internal control system is established.
The authorized consignee is entitled to accept goods in the T1 transit procedure without presenting them and without presenting the transit declaration at the office of destination. The authorized consignee is obliged to participate in the NCTS procedure.

What is temporary storage?Organic warehouse

Authorized consignee
The logistics company SEREDA GmbH has the status of an Authorized Consignee. The authorization was granted by the main customs office in Berlin and serves to simplify the customs procedure.The authorized consignee is entitled to accept goods in the T1 transit procedure without presenting them and without presenting the transit declaration at the office of destination. The authorized consignee is obliged to participate in the NCTS procedure.
The authorized consignee is entitled to carry out the following formalities:
- receive directly at his premises goods carried under the Union transit procedure
- no presentation at the customs office of destination but electronic transmission of the arrival of the goods
- Electronic exchange of further messages with customs
Authorized consignor
The logistics company SEREDA GmbH has the status of an Authorized Consignor. The authorization was granted by the main customs office in Berlin. The Authorized Consignor can carry out joint/common transit operations, perform transit operations under the Union transit procedure without having to present the goods and the corresponding transit declaration to the customs office of departure. An Authorized Consignor or Authorized Consignee is obliged to participate in the NCTS procedure.Special feature of the authorization: The authorization can only be granted to natural persons or legal entities established in the Union.
The authorized consignor is entitled to carry out the following formalities:
- Issue of transit declarations
- Electronic transmission of the departure of the goods
- Electronic exchange of further messages with customs
- Sealing of the means of transport or the packages
- Carriage of the goods without action by the customs office
License for the operation of a custody warehouse
The logistics company SEREDA GmbH has been granted a license for the operation of bonded warehouses. The authorization specifies the conditions for the operation of bonded warehouses, art. 148 p. 1, 2 of the UZK. In addition to the goods authorized for temporary storage, it also specifies the supervising customs office, which is responsible for the overall supervision of the procedure.What is temporary storage?
- Temporary storage applies to all imports until they are released for a (different) customs procedure (e.g. free circulation).
- Possible up to a maximum of 90 days (previously 10-20 days).
Organic warehouse
SEREDA GmbH is officially certified with the organic inspection body DE-ÖKO-070 and approved for import / initial reception / storage / shipping logistics of organic products in accordance with EC Regulation 2018/848.
Excise warehouse for alcohol and alcoholic goods
SEREDA GmbH is officially approved as an excise warehouse for alcohol and goods containing alcohol (alcohol products).
